SKIN RESCUE was the start of what was to become Kinfolk Apothecary. She was created in the journey of healing my daughter of eczema. The way in which she heals and soothes the skin is what kickstarted my love for our plant allies and their potent healing abilities.

SKIN RESCUE is a combination of some of my most favourite skin loving herbs:
▫️Calendula: speeds up the healing of cuts, wounds, rashes and mild burns. Shown to promote angiogenesis, therefore promoting healing in skin by promoting the production of new blood vessels.
▫️Chickweed: affectionately known as the little star lady of the fields due to her beautiful star shaped blooms, she is a marvellous herb for alleviating itching and irritation.
▫️Gotu kola: topical application of this powerhouse herb has been shown to treat varicose veins, psoriasis, leg ulcers and burns.
