The sea shells symbolise early mornings collecting shells with my family along the crisp ocean shore, a ritual the connects me to the sea and my people. Similarly, the hibiscus’s displayed on the four corners and the central motif represent my siblings and I collecting bright flowers along our walks for our parents. Finally, the sun figure is illustrated as beaming and vibrant. It embodies the warmth of the sun on my skin in summer, capturing the essence of its healing power.
